This cover is designed to protect you against a traumatic event of your life that is not permanent. Events such as Heart attacks and strokes can occur during your working life that prevent you generating income whilst recovering from a Trauma.

Most policies will have a nominated Lump Sum payment which is designed to assist you through these times with your financial obligations and let you not have to worry about short term debt and focusing on your recovery.

Total and Permanent Disability

This cover is aimed at paying a lump sum amount where you are permanently disabled through illness or injury which then will affect your capacity to generate an income. This obviously will place financial burdens on you and your family to cover ongoing living costs, medical expenses let alone mortgage repayments.
